Gulmarg ski resort is located in India’s northwestern corner, in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, 35 miles from the state capital of Srinagar. The Annual Pine Palace Championship

The Pine Palace Championship is a permanent fixture on the Gulmarg winter sports calendar hosting disciplines like Alpine, Snowboarding and Freestyle . Under the aegis of Winter Games Federation of India and Ski association of Delhi The Pine Palace has hosted the championship for over 5 years with dignitaries like Mr. Omar Abdullah member parliament, Mr. Gulam Hassan Mir MLA Cabinet Minister, Mr. Nawang R. Zora MLA Cabinet Minister, Steve Lee World CUP Downhill Champion and Mr. Sahai Inspector General Police Kashmir gracing the events as Chief Guests. We at Pine Palace have the distinction of holding the FIRST GULMARG GLOBAL DERBY where participants from 16 different nationalities participated in a freestyle run from Apharwat Mountain finishing at the Pine Palace Heritage. • Apharwat: The final destination of the Gulmarg Gondola.
   
• Alapathar Lake: The Lake is a single day trek from Gulmarg via Khilanmarg you can also hire ponies to ride up to the lake.
